Daytona Beach Campus Student Veterans Organization

The Student Veterans Organization (SVO) is a club for military-affiliated students, providing support to our members transitioning from the Military to College to Career. In short, we are a social club that also does community service. We understand that you may be a few years older than most of your classmates and may be looking for a sense of community and purpose similar to your time in the military.

We assist our members through social activities (e.g. range days and beach cookouts), university initiatives, and community projects. The SVO has the ability to get our members personal tutors for almost any major or minor course. Most SVO members are military-affiliated students (veterans, active duty, reservists, guard, and military dependents), but membership is open to all ERAU students.

Partnering with Veteran Student Services (VSS), we are also part of a multi-county committee called the Volusia & Flagler Veterans Assembly, which assists our fellow neighboring universities and colleges with their student veteran programs, and inspire student veterans to help the greater veteran community.

Students can join the SVO through the Campus Groups application, available on their ERNIE Homepage.

Students and their families can also follow the SVO on Facebook and Instagram.

SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society

SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society was formed in 2009 by the Colorado State University Veterans Office thanks to a grant by the American Council of Education and Walmart Foundation. We are one of over 326 chapters of the society. Each chapter symbolizes the achievement of veterans bettering themselves through the pursuit of knowledge, and our commitment as a group to honor those among us that are the tip of the spear.

SALUTE, which stands for Service, Academics, Leadership, Unity, Tribute, and Excellence, is the only national honor society recognizing the service and academic achievement of student veterans.
