
The Embry-Riddle Discover Scholars provides a pre-orientation program to help student ease into their lives on the Dayton Beach Campus. Additionally, the program provides ongoing support for the duration of the first year.
Perks and Benefits
- Pre-Orientation Event: Scholars will be invited to campus early to participate in a no cost three day pre-orientation. During the program, scholars will participate in team-building activities, social events, and make connections with faculty and staff.
- Living Learning Community: A chance to live with other scholars in Residence Hall 1, which features additional educational support and networking opportunities.
- Social Outings & Events: Scholars will have the opportunity to participate in free team-building, social events, and outings during the duration of the event.
- Peer Mentored: Scholars will be paired with an upper-class peer mentor at the beginning of summer.
- First Generation: Discovery Scholars First Generation will be invited to join the first generation student group.
- Research: Discovery Scholars Research will learn about research on the Daytona Beach Campus and how to get involved.
