Chanute Complex is a 78-unit complex operated by Embry-Riddle to provide apartment-style housing for sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students. Located on a picturesque lake just 1.5 miles south of campus, it’s an easy bike ride to classes and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants.
Students can choose from three floor plans: a studio for one student, a one-bedroom for two students, or a two-bedroom for two students. Each unit is furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, and living room furniture, and features a fully equipped kitchen furnished with a table and chairs.
Chanute complex includes a laundry facility with vending machines and a study lounge with Resident Assistants on duty to provide tutoring in the evenings. When it’s time to take a break, students can enjoy the view from one of several picnic tables overlooking the lake, cook out on a barbecue grill, or enjoy a game of basketball or volleyball.
Students living at Chanute Complex enjoy apartment-style living without the hassle of paying monthly rent. Housing at the complex is included in each student’s account, and includes utilities.
