2022 Family Weekend at Daytona Beach

Early registration for Family Weekend closed on Friday, January 26, 2024. Onsite registration will be available at the check-in locations on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 4 pm- 7 pm and Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 9 am –noon.

Family Weekend is for current ERAU students to share their on-campus experience and current projects with their families.

During Family Weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to walk in your student’s footsteps, learn about resources to help him/her succeed, and participate in family-friendly activities.

Parking: The first two levels are open parking for all, payable by mobile pay after scanning the QR code available at all entrances and signs in the parking garage. Visitor passes are not required for the weekend.

Observatory Telescope Viewing

College of Engineering Student Panel – EagleCam

EagleCam is a CubeSat that has been designed and built by Embry-Riddle students. Its aim is to touch the lunar surface in late February 2024. The mission has three objectives: to provide the first third-person images of a non­terrestrial landing, to demonstrate the first use of Wi-Fi transmission on the Moon, and to study the interaction between

the rocket plume and the lunar dust. The panel that will operate EagleCam during its mission will consist of students and faculty who built it.
