The Orientation Team (O-Team) is responsible for coordinating and staffing all Orientation Programming held at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). The emphasis of an Orientation Ambassador is meeting and greeting every new student and their family to the University, while helping facilitate the answer to all their questions about Embry-Riddle.

An Orientation Ambassador (OA) is a student representative who assists in a variety of programs which help new students transition to college life. OAs seek to create an atmosphere which minimizes anxiety, promotes positive attitudes and stimulates excitement for learning and involvement within our community.

As an OA, you will have the opportunity to meet new students and their families and welcome them to Embry-Riddle. An OA does this by actively participating in showing new students and their families the campus, engaging in meaningful conversations with new students at meals and in smaller insight groups and selflessly serving to ignite a passion for ERAU in each new student.

Approximately 20 Orientation Ambassador positions are available. Check out ERAU Connection for more information.

The criteria for selecting OAs includes your application, personal qualifications and reference forms, your personal availability in relation to programming and a sincere commitment in making a positive difference in the life of new students and their families.
