Welcome New Students and Families,

It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Community. We are extremely excited to have you join the ERAU Family. To help aide you along your journey, we have selected a team of exceptional students to serve as your Orientation Ambassadors. The Orientation Team and the Office of Orientation & Family Relations work closely with the academic colleges and departments, Admissions and Student Affairs in an effort to provide new students and their families with an overview of what Embry-Riddle has to offer, both in and out of the classroom.

New Student Orientation is a required program for all new students who attend ERAU. During this time, students will learn about the community and the resources it has to offer, finalize their class schedule, meet with their academic advisor and get a chance to meet both new and continuing students at Embry-Riddle. Family members and guests will also have a chance to participate in our Parent Orientation, which is geared towards their specific needs and concerns. At this time, parents will also have the opportunity to meet other parents, faculty and administrators.

It is also the goal of the Office of Orientation & Family Relations to help support students’ families throughout their time at the University. Family Relations serves as a partnership between parents/guardians and the University. The office provides programs and services designed to enhance the support and retention of students by meeting the educational, informational and involvement needs of their families and support systems.

Our goal is to familiarize you with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's expectations, traditions and history. We are dedicated to easing the transition to ERAU for new students and their families, and will help support you in any way we can throughout your journey.
