Please do not bring pets of any kind; weapons of any kind; dart boards; fireworks; waterbeds; candles; or halogen lamps.
- What should I plan to bring?
You should plan to bring sheets (single, 80 inches); a mattress pad; pillows; blankets/bedspread; towels; a desk lamp; an alarm clock; a padlock for your security box/drawer; cleaning supplies; a laundry basket/bag; and a computer (not required).
- Who will I room with?
When you are admitted to the University, you will receive a housing brochure and contract which will include a questionnaire designed to help us match you with a compatible roommate. While we cannot guarantee a perfect roommate match, we try to assign students together who have similar interests. It is important that you answer the questionnaire honestly.
Approximately three to four weeks prior to your arrival, you will receive a letter notifying you of your roommate. At that time, we encourage you to call your prospective roommate, not only to get to know him/her, but also to coordinate who will bring certain items. Remember, although we do supply each student with a computer/data line, there is only one phone line and one TV service connection per room.
