Daytona Beach Campus

Spiritual and Religious Life

Nurturing the Spirit

The Campus Ministry Department and Chaplain's Office are located in the Interfaith Chapel. We provide spiritual and religious nurture and connection to students, staff, faculty and alumni of the University community.

We strive to foster a healthy interfaith community, respecting people of all religious traditions, and encouraging and providing support for others to do the same.

The Chaplain's Office

The Chaplain's Office is a welcoming and safe place where you can have a confidential conversation with one of our chaplains about anything, religious or not:

  • Support through life’s ups and downs
  • Discussion about integrating faith into your academic and college life
  • Guidance about your future plans, hopes and dreams
  • Advice on how to resolve religious conflicts with others
  • Ideas about how to live a more compassionate life, towards yourself and towards others

Connections

We provide connections to religious clubs on-campus, and religious communities off-campus. We will help you find a spiritual home here.

Prayer and Meditation Rooms Available

Four prayers rooms and one meditation room for different faiths are located inside the Chapel. They are available for individual prayer, meditation and reflection.

Flexible Hours to Accommodate Students' Schedules

The Interfaith Chapel is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. During the fall and spring semesters, a Catholic Mass is held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings.
