The eastern campus, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, features a 185-acre campus next to Daytona Beach International Airport and Daytona International Speedway. The campus features state-of-the-art facilities and offers more than 20 undergraduate degrees and more than 10 graduate degrees. The student body consists of people from 50 states and more than 100 countries. In addition, nearly 25 percent of the student body participates in ROTC. Furthermore, many students participate in the athletic programs offered at Embry-Riddle. Lastly, more than 150 student organizations are offered at Embry-Riddle for students to participate, ranging from student government to skydiving.
The Bethune-Cookman campus is located just minutes away from Embry-Riddle. The university offers more than 30 undergraduate degrees, ranging from nursing to computer engineering. Bethune-Cookman has a award-winning athletic department and has achieved national recognition. In addition, the Bethune-Cookman marching band has appeared in several national commercials and in the movie "Drumline." Furthermore, the National Science Foundation awarded a large grant to the university to further research for the University's Robotics and Embedded Systems Research Laboratory.
Located across the street from Embry-Riddle, Daytona State College is a provider of higher education for Volusia and Flagler counties in Florida. The college offers multiple degrees ranging from engineering technology programs to architectural and building design technology. Furthermore, the facilities are all state-of-the-art and feature the latest in computer technology. Several professional facilities are located on the campus, ranging from the Public Broadcasting System to a Theater Center — home to some of the area's finest performing arts productions.
Located next to Daytona State College, the University of Central Florida, Daytona Beach services more than 1,000 students in more than 15 undergraduate programs. In addition, due to the close proximity of the other campuses, various partnerships have been established for students in various degree programs. UCF Daytona Beach has a strong nursing program, along with various legal and medical undergraduate degrees programs available at the campus.
