Intercollegiate Athletics Department Hosts 2013 Blue & Gold Gala Fundraiser

Daytona Beach, FL, April 9, 2013

The Embry-Riddle Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host the ninth annual Blue & Gold Gala on Friday, April 12, 2013, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the ICI Center on Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach Campus.

The Blue & Gold Gala is the primary Athletics fundraiser, with proceeds supporting Embry-Riddle's 17 sports programs and enhancing the overall student-athlete experience. In addition to supporting student-athlete scholarship, the Athletics administration is hoping to raise funds for technology upgrades in the areas of Academic Enhancement, Sports Medicine, Sports Information and others.

For the ninth consecutive year, Daytona Mitsubishi/Kia will be the presenting sponsor of the Gala.

The Gala is a community event that will feature fabulous silent and live auctions, delicious cuisine and musical entertainment. Individual tickets to attend the Gala are $100 and include dinner and complimentary beer, wine and Pepsi products. There are also opportunities for individuals and business to support the event as a sponsor and/or by featuring a product, service or experience as an auction item.
