Embry-Riddle degree programs are approved by the appropriate State Department of Veterans Affairs (State Approving Agency) for enrollment of persons eligible to receive education benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA).
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has entered into an agreement with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) to participate in the Post 9/11 Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP) to fund the cost of tuition and fees that exceeds the basic tuition and fees amount payable by VA.
If a school participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program, VA will match each dollar the school contributes up to 50 percent of the difference between the basic tuition and fees amount payable by VA and the tuition and fee amount charged the student. The combined school and VA contribution can't exceed the tuition and fee amount charged to the student.
The Yellow Ribbon Program payment is paid directly to the school on behalf of the student when the school's enrollment certification is processed.
The DVA will determine eligibility for the Post 9/11 GI Bill and issue a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to the student. The COE will advise you if your time served meets the requirements for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
If eligible, bring/send the following forms to the Veterans Program Administrator.
