The accelerated program in Aerospace Engineering is a rigorous fast-track program for students with strong academic backgrounds to complete both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Aerospace Engineering. The goal of the program is to produce graduates who are prepared for careers in industry as research and development engineers, as well as practical engineers. The additional year of study beyond the bachelor’s degree includes advanced graduate-level courses in aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, and astronautics, augmenting the student’s undergraduate background.
Accelerated Engineering Physics
Combining the fields of space systems engineering and space sciences, this program focuses on the scientific challenges and planning associated with mission design, and the research related to exploration of the space environment.
Accelerated Human Factors and Systems
In this fascinating curriculum, you will study the relationship of people to their work environment. Ergonomics, human behavior, and human capabilities are examined with an applied, experimental methodology, using experimental design and statistical analysis. Graduates will be prepared for positions as human factors specialists or to continue their education in graduate school.
Accelerated Mechanical Engineering
The accelerated Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering program allows students with strong academic backgrounds to use up to three graduate courses to fulfill degree requirements for both the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree programs in Mechanical Engineering.
