M.S. Electrical and Computer Engineering
The accelerated program in Electrical and Computer Engineering is housed within the Electrical, Computer, Software & Systems Engineering (ECSSE) department, and allows students with strong academic backgrounds to use up to three graduate courses to fulfill degree requirements for both the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. It is possible to complete the BS+MS in five years, and exceptional students may complete the program in less time. Students gain a combination of real-world experience and advanced knowledge of electrical and computer systems. Eligible students from all undergraduate engineering programs may apply.
The accelerated program allows a student to count up to nine credit hours of graduate coursework toward both the BS degree and MSECE. This reduces the time required to obtain the MSECE degree. Students in undergraduate disciplines other than EE and CEC can use the accelerated program to broaden their knowledge base.
