As the fastest-growing student group in the College of Engineering, students in the Mechanical Engineering degree programs have multiple professional and social networking opportunities with their faculty and peers, as well as with industry leaders. Extra- and co-curricular student groups, such as the AUVSI unmanned robotics competition teams and the third-largest SAE student chapter in the world and its associated competition teams, give students excellent opportunities for networking, resume-development, and engineering project skills-building.
