The Department of Freshman Engineering at Embry-Riddle gives first-year students a rapid introduction to topics in engineering. This department exposes students to all branches of engineering, the engineering process, and the basic tools of engineering in a manner that is applicable to all engineering degree programs at Embry-Riddle. The faculty members of this department are dedicated to advising and guiding all first-year engineering students, regardless of degree program, and providing immediate applications of engineering concepts as students take their first courses at Embry-Riddle.
