Perhaps the single strongest indicator of the quality of educational experience within the programs of the Department of Electrical, Computer, Software, and Systems Engineering is the exceptional performance of our alumni in the workforce and in life.

Program alumni have gone to work for an impressive list of technology-focused corporations and government organizations that include not only major aerospace and defense companies, but also a broad set of computing-centric companies such as AAI, Advanced Micro Devices, Bausch and Lomb, Boeing, Boston Scientific, Cisco Systems, U.S. Department of Defense, Draper Labs, Electronic Arts, FAA, General Dynamics, Harris, IBM, Insitu, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, MITRE, Motorola, NASA, Northrup Grumman, Raydon, Raytheon, Rockwell Collins, SAAB AB, Soneticom, Sparton Electronics, Symantec, and United Space Alliance.

Alumni are also important in professional organizations such as the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE); several IEEE technical societies, including the Computer Society, the Aerospace Electronics and Systems Society, the Communications Society, and the Signal Processing Society; and the Association for Computing Machinery.
