Florida Center for Advanced Aero-Propulsion Technology
The Florida Center for Advanced Aero-Propulsion (FCAAP) is focusing on developing new aero-propulsion technologies for the aerospace industries. Examples include Green Propulsion Systems, Micro Cooling via Porous Materials. Turbine-Based Hypersonic Engine, Flow and Noise Control, Pulse-Detonation Engine, Hybrid Electrical Aircraft Engine, Bio-Fuel Engines, Fluid Slush, and Synthetic Jets for Control of MAV.
Dr. Mankbadi is a distinguished professor who specializes in computational fluid dynamics. He currently participates in research regarding the precise control of micro air vehicles for use in both the military and civilian sectors. His research, which also involves studying the use of synthetic, smart micro-jets to control the MAVs, is being conducted alongside Dr. Golubev.
