About the College of Engineering

Embry-Riddle’s College of Engineering’s programs are recognized for their rigor, innovation, and balance between theory and practice. As the largest educator of aerospace engineers in the nation, the college plays a vital role in replenishing the dwindling aerospace workforce and maintaining our nation’s preeminence in aviation and aerospace. Our faculty and students are engaged in interdisciplinary research focused on finding solutions to problems that matter and developing technologies that serve the needs of the aerospace and aviation industry. We give our graduates the tools for continued intellectual development and the practice of life-long learning.

OUR MISSION

  • To educate and prepare our students for careers and leadership in engineering, aerospace, aviation and related fields
  • To support the advancement of engineering through interdisciplinary applied research and by developing technology that serves the needs of the aerospace and aviation industry
