Degree Programs
Embry-Riddle’s College of Business degree programs are designed to meet the needs of the dynamic education and business environments. Our curriculum educates our graduates with knowledge and skills essential to their entry into the workplace and society. Emphasis is placed on:
- communication and quantitative skills
- global awareness
- social responsibility and ethics
- information technology & systems
- critical thinking
- teamwork
- business functional skills
- aviation/aerospace industry familiarity and experience
- development of an attitude of lifelong learning
We enrich our curricula with colloquia, forums, visiting speakers, and other programs. Classroom work incorporates computer applications, groups as well as individual projects and presentations, and provides a blend of theory and applications that prepares students for a variety of careers. Cooperative educational experiences are encouraged, with dedicated faculty to assist students in co-op placement. In addition, elective courses allow students to broaden their general education or aviation/aerospace interests.
Our aim is to provide a world-class business and management education in an aviation/aerospace context. We have assembled a community of faculty scholars with global reputations and reach. Our curricula at the graduate and undergraduate levels set the standard in aviation/aerospace management education. Our faculty and students have the opportunity to focus on cutting-edge solutions to real-world problems and opportunities found in aviation, aerospace, and transportation-related industries and organizations. Our dedication to excellence is manifested by our accreditation by the Association of Collegiate Business Programs and Schools (ACBPS) for all our degree programs and by Aviation Accreditation Board International(AABI) for our undergraduate degree program in Business Administration.
The Master in Business Administration is intended to give individuals who already hold undergraduate degrees, often in technical areas like engineering, the tools necessary to become a credible professional manager in aviation, aerospace, or related industries. The program of study combines common general management courses with specializations in Airline Management, Airport Management, Aviation Human Resources, Aviation Systems Management, and Finance.
