Embry-Riddle is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award degrees at the associate's, bachelor's, and master's levels.
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) was founded in 1895 and is one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States. Its central purpose is to foster improvement in educational quality and assure the public that member institutions meet established standards for student learning and support. SACS currently accredits over 13,000 schools and school systems in the United States and overseas through a process that depends on continuous improvement as demonstrated by an established cycle of annual reports and periodic evaluations.
Daytona Beach Campus business programs are accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)
The Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) was founded in 1988 to focus on educational quality in the business programs at U.S. institutions of higher learning. ACBSP stresses the value of teaching excellence and seeks to foster best practices that encourage each of the 585 currently accredited members to strive for continuous improvement in their programs. Annual reports and periodic evaluations help to ensure that each member organization maintains the highest standards in business education.
