University 101
University 101 is a required course for first-year students in which they’re
introduced to the history of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as well
as career options. In addition students are taught personal, interpersonal
and social skills necessary to succeed in college including but no limited to the following:
- Time management
- Study habits
- Goal clarifications
- Health and wellness
- Learning styles
- Campus resources
- Involvement in college life
This course is taken as part of the student’s regular course load and is graded by a letter grade. This course provides a support group for students in a critical transition year by examining problems common to the first year experience.
