The PS Department faculty conducts world class research in Space Plasma Phyiscs and frequently involves students in research activities. Opportunities exist for students to actively participate in research activities that include:
- Ionospheric physics and auroral radio emissions
- Remote sensing observations from the South Pole
- Data analysis of multi-satellites measurements in space
- Numerical simulations of magnetospheric physics
- Astrophysics
