The faculty of the Physical Sciences Department is consistently recognized for their outstanding research and teaching in physics and chemistry, space and atmospheric physics, spacecraft instrumentation, spacecraft dynamics and control, robotics, remote sensing, astronomy and astrophysics, and quantum control.
We seek to develop our students' ability to think critically and analytically and to accept responsibility. Our students are expected to master the skills that enable them to communicate clearly and to interact with people different from themselves. They endeavor to become technically savvy members of society. The growth of our programs, the diversity of our faculty, and our bright enthusiastic students make our college an exciting place to be.
