Students
Mathematics students are brought together in an environment that encourages academic excellence and supports a vibrant campus life. Mathematics students have much to offer each other, both in and out of the classroom. They benefit from academic and extracurricular opportunities which help them achieve at the highest scholarly levels, and prepare for positions of leadership and service.
The mathematics department offers membership in two student clubs which explore the beauty and the practice of mathematics beyond the classroom. The Mathematical Association of America (MAA) and the Society of Applied and Industrial Mathematics (SIAM) are national organizations which sponsor student chapters at Embry-Riddle. There are also opportunities for dedicated students to find employment within the department as tutors, graders and administrative assistants.
