As part of the new Mathematics Department nonlinear waves laboratory, a state-of-the-art wave tank is now operational in the Lehman Building. Laser technology and customized software allow faculty and student researchers to analyze data associated with a variety of wave phenomena produced in the 270-cubic-foot tank. The Embry-Riddle tank is one of only ten tanks in the United States, and is among the most technologically-advanced.
