Minor in Applied Mathematics
Students may earn a minor in Mathematics by completing 21 credits as follows:

Minor in Computational Mathematics
In computational mathematics, computers play a critical role in applying algorithms and numerical methods to solve a wide variety of scientific problems involving mathematical models. This minor is designed to introduce undergraduates to this field. Options are available to study Scientific Visualization or High Performance Computing (or both), with a requirement of 21 total credits.
