Welcome to the Mathematics Department
The Department of Mathematics offers a full range of undergraduate mathematics courses to support all Embry-Riddle degree programs, including graduate courses in support of the Masters of Science in Space Physics and Aerospace Engineering programs. The department offers a Bachelor’s degree in Computational Mathematics. In this degree students will blend mathematical theory and computational techniques to address real world problems arising in aerospace engineering, meteorology, geophysics, and planetary physics. Some of these courses involve an expanded use of modeling and data visualization tools to help students understand mathematical ideas in a scientific context. In addition, two minors are available, Applied Mathematics and Computational Mathematics.
