Humanities & Social Sciences

Welcome to the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences. We offer two degree programs – Aerospace Studies and Communication – and administer a wide range of courses in areas such as writing, history, literature, international relations and diplomacy, philosophy, religion, values & ethics and mass communication.

Our growing Communication program trains students to fill the high demand for professional communicators in the digital age, with special focus on science, technology and aviation.

The popular Aerospace Studies program allows students to design their own major from among 15 areas of specialization: flight, air traffic control, aviation weather, space studies, humanities and psychology.
