2008 HPEE Conference in New York

The Society for Human Performance in Extreme Environments (HPEE) was created to inspire and facilitate collaboration between researchers, practitioners, and other professionals to improve human safety and performance in extremely risky and challenging settings.

Student involvement in HPEE is vital to the future of the Society. We strongly encourage the participation of undergraduate and graduate students at the annual meetings and welcome student authored or co-authored submissions to the Journal.

We have also recently created the first student chapter of HPEE at ERAU. Undergraduate student Greg Orrell was instrumental in stimulating student interest and setting up the chapter.
