Our students have completed internships with a variety of companies across a broad spectrum of industries including:
- Battelle
- Bausch and Lomb
- Boeing
- CHI Systems
- Lockheed Martin
- Microsoft
- NASA
- Northrop Grumman
- Symantec
- Toyota
- United Space Alliance
Internships are a critical component to the educational process and a provide a powerful line item on any college graduate’s resume. While our students are not required to complete an internship, it is highly encouraged.
Our department faculty have many contacts at professional organizations and Embry-Riddle has an excellent career services office to help students identify potential internship positions, prepare their resumes and apply.
Students must also be proactive and are encouraged to seek internships with companies that match their interests and career goals. While department faculty and the career services office can provide a starting point, students should visit corporate web sites and attend campus sponsored career fairs to gather information on potential positions just as they would with any job search.
