At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, what we do — and do best — is teach the science, practice and business of the world of aviation and aerospace. The curriculum at Embry-Riddle covers the operation, engineering, research, manufacturing, marketing and management of modern aircraft and the systems that support them. The University caters to industry needs through the Summer Programs and Professional Programs, by engaging in extensive research, consulting, instruction and related activities.
Professional Programs
The Office of Professional Programs at Embry-Riddle offers stellar educational opportunities for professionals and organizations in the aviation/aerospace industry. Professional Programs offer flexibility and can create specialized programs — offering customized education and training at independent organizations or on campus — in a variety of aviation, safety and security subjects. Embry-Riddle’s Center for Aerospace Safety/Security Education (CASE) courses include Aircraft Accident Investigation and Management (Basic & Advanced), Aviation Safety Program Management and Aviation Ground Safety for Managers/OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety & Health.
Summer Programs
Embry-Riddle offers a unique summer camp experience on the Daytona Beach Campus. Summer Programs provide an opportunity to students age 12-18 to study aviation and aerospace while experiencing college life, under the supervision of approved chaperones. Students are able to share their initial experience of the University with peers in a living-learning environment.
