Flight Team

Representing Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach campus, the Eagles Flight Team competes at the annual National Intercollegiate Flying Association’s (NIFA) National and Regional Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON). The events we compete in are not aerobatic, but instead are precision flying and knowledge events.

Alpha Omicron Alpha

Alpha Omicron Alpha Aeronautical Honor Society is Embry-Riddle's only honor society specifically for Aeronautical Science students. Limited to 3% of the Aeronautical Science student body, Alpha Omicron Alpha strives for excellence, safety, and leadership in aviation. Our members are active on campus assisting the Aeronautical Science Department and off campus doing various philanthropic activities.

Women in Aviation, International

The Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach Chapter of Women in Aviation is an organization consisting of students from all degree programs at our university; from pilots to A&Ps, aerospace engineers to air traffic controllers. The main purpose of our organization is to help advance both men and women in the aviation industry through mentoring, educational seminars, and scholarships.

Ninety-Nines Inc.

To give women pilots opportunities in the aviation industry through participation in local air shows, community networking, and scholarships and awards through the International Ninety-Nines organization.
