The Tine W. Davis Swimming Pool is located outside the Eagle Fitness Center, near the center of campus. The pool is open from Spring Break to December each year, offering students, faculty, staff, and alumni a place to swim, participate in aquatic group exercise classes, enjoy a game of ping-pong, or just relax in the sun.
Seasonal water fitness classes are offered from June through October. Group exercise classes include deep-water training, H2O cardio classes, and hydro-yogalates. Hydro-cycling classes are also offered on the pool’s 15 hydro-cycling water bikes.
The 25-yard by 25-meter, L-shaped pool is staffed with student lifeguards during hours of operation. The pool offers employment opportunities for numerous student lifeguards on a seasonal basis and offers lifeguard certification classes and CPR training for reduced fees.
