The Daytona Beach Ocean Center is conveniently located off Highway A1A in Daytona Beach, about 5 miles east of the Embry-Riddle campus.
Parking is available in the Ocean Center parking garage located just across the street (CASH ONLY). A limited number of discounted parking passes will be available for $3 from the Student Financial Services Office beginning April 2nd. NOTE: Guests can pay for parking on the day of the ceremony (CASH ONLY). Normal parking charges on the day of graduation will range between $5 and $10. Please note, the Ocean Center parking attendants will collect parking passes as you enter the garage. There will be no refunds on unused parking passes.
Students will enter the Ocean Center through the East Side (facing A1A) at 8:00 a.m. for check-in and line up in the Atlantic Room.
Family, friends, and guests will enter through the West Concourse (Earl Street, directly across from Daytona Lagoon and the parking garage). Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. There will be a large banner, labeled guests enter here, at the entrance. No tickets are required for entry, and seating will be on a first come, first served basis. Saving seats, however, will not be permitted.
Graduation tickets are not required for general entry to Embry-Riddle’s Commencement ceremony. Nevertheless, there are a limited number of reserved seats available. This seating will be located in Sections 103 or 120 (risers not floor seating), directly to the right and left of the stage. A map has been posted below for reference. You will have a guaranteed space for each seat purchased; however, please note that specific seats will not be assigned ahead of time. Seating in this section is first-come, first-served.
Upon arrival to Section 103 or 120, depending on which section in which you have purchased your seats, kindly provide your name and receipt to the Embry-Riddle staff member on duty. Tickets are available for purchase HERE. NOTE: Purchases must be made by noon on Friday, May 4th.
Grad Flowers is pleased to offer you a variety of beautiful floral gifts to purchase for your graduate at the main campus ceremonies. Please feel free to pick out something special from the selections they have on their website.
You will be able to conveniently pick your gift up, on site, on the day of Commencement. Simply check in with your name at the flower kiosk and you’ll be all set!
A special reserved section will be made available to guests with disabilities. Reserved seat tickets are not required. Guests with disabilities should plan to arrive an hour early as the venue is large, and our guests will have to walk to the special reserved section. Due to safety regulations, only three people may accompany the guest with a disability in the accessible seating area.

Baby Picture Project
This is your opportunity to show your son or daughter just how proud you are of them and how far he or she has come! With your generous donation of at least $50, the Senior Class Council will provide the opportunity to submit up to three baby or family pictures of your son or daughter (the funnier, the better!), along with a short congratulatory message. Your donation will be helping a rising senior with their financial needs during his or her final semester at Embry-Riddle.
