Graduation applications may be submitted the semester prior to degree completion, and instructions are available through ERNIE and the Information for Students section of the graduation site. Stay in touch with Office of the Registrar to verify all paperwork is completed and you are eligible to graduate.
Embry-Riddle does not host a Summer Commencement Ceremony. Summer graduates are invited to attend the Fall Commencement Ceremony and may indicate their interest on the graduation application. Summer graduates wishing to participate in the Spring Commencement Ceremony, may petition their college dean for a ceremony waiver if they are within 6 credit hours of degree completion.
Cap & Gown orders can be placed at the Grad Fair on February 22nd & 23rd on the Flight Deck. A representative will be on campus from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. All orders placed after TBA will be charged a $10 late fee. Payments are due upon ordering. Graduation Announcements – Customized announcements can be ordered that contain the ERAU crest, your name, degree and major. All orders will be sent to your home address in approximately three weeks. See the Herff Jones Representative to view samples and place your order on February 22nd & 23rd.

Graduation CGPA is based on all Embry-Riddle courses. If you have questions, please visit Office of the Registrar, located in the Student Center Annex.
Your diploma will be mailed, and you will receive it approximately four to six weeks after graduation. Please ensure that Office of the Registrar has your valid diploma mailing address.
The measurement for the graduate and undergraduate diploma is 8.5" x 11".
The Loan Exit Counseling session, with Financial Aid, must be completed prior to the last day of exams.This learning opportunity provides information about your rights and responsibilities as a borrower, including information about various repayment plans and deferment or forbearance options that may be available to you if you are unable to make a payment.
No tickets are needed. All family and friends will be accommodated. However, please know that seating in the Ocean Center is on a first come basis. Guests are not permitted to save rows of seats prior to the ceremony. Thank you for your cooperation!
There are a limited number of reserved seats available. This seating will be located in Sections 103 and 120, directly to the left and right of the stage. A map has been included below for reference. You will have a guaranteed space for each seat purchased; however, please note that specific seats will not be assigned ahead of time. Seating in these sections is first-come, first-served. NOTE: This seating is not floor seating. These are risers.
Upon arrival to Section 103 or 120, kindly provide your name and receipt to the Embry-Riddle staff member on duty. Tickets are available for purchase online HERE.
Graduates, family, and friends are encouraged to park in the Ocean Center parking garage, just north of the Ocean Center. Parking passes will be on sale at the Cashier’s Office (located in the Tomcat Annex, Modular 30-1) starting April 3rd for $3 per vehicle. Parking passes are $5 to $10 per vehicle the day of graduation (CASH ONLY). Parking is limited and has run out in the past! It is first come, first served; it is a great idea to carpool. Disability accommodations are available.
Grad Images will be taking pictures during the ceremony. They take pictures of the graduates as they cross the stage and receive their diplomas. After the ceremony, Grad Images will e-mail the student a proof for you to decide if you would like to order a professional copy. If you do not receive a proof of your graduate's picture, you may contact Grad Images directly.
If you are planning to walk in the spring 2017 Commencement Ceremony or run for Senior Class Council, you should attend one of the two graduation meetings. These meetings will be held in the Center for Faith and Spirituality at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17th or Wednesday, January 18th.
To accommodate families and friends of our graduates who are not able to attend the commencement ceremony, the event will be webcast live from our Streaming Eagles website. Past commencement events will also be viewable on demand.
