Daytona Beach Graduation

Date: Monday, December 17th
Location: Daytona Beach Ocean Center
Time: Ceremony begins at 10 a.m.; graduates should arrive at 8 a.m. promptly


Hooding Ceremony

The Hooding Ceremony for graduate students is Sunday, December 16th at 10 a.m. in the ICI Center on the Daytona Beach campus. A reception immediately following the Master’s Hooding Ceremony will be held for graduate students and their guests. Parking is open to the public. Both seating and parking is on a first come, first serve basis.

Graduate students should arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. for line up with the ceremony starting at 10 a.m. Please come fully dressed and do not be late; the process needs your full attention. A Herff Jones and Bookstore representative will be on location with caps and gowns if there are complications prior to the ceremony picking up your order.


Ph.D. Candidates

Doctoral candidates will be hooded on stage at the Commencement ceremony on Monday, December 17th.


ROTC Commissioning Ceremonies

U.S. Air Force ROTC

Sunday, December 16th: The Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps will commission its cadets as Second Lieutenants in the United States Air Force. The ceremony begins at 1:00 p.m. in the Capt. Willie Miller Instructional Center followed by a reception in the same location.

U.S. Army ROTC

Friday, December 14th: The Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps will conduct its commissioning ceremony in the Henderson Welcome Center at 10 a.m. There will be a reception immediately following the ceremony. 

U.S. Naval ROTC

Monday, December 17th: The Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps will host its commissioning ceremony at 3 p.m. in the Henderson Welcome Center. Graduating Midshipmen will be taking the oath of office to commission as Ensigns in the Navy or Second Lieutenants in the Marine Corps. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the same location.


Graduation Mass (Catholic)

Mass will be held at 7 p.m. in the Center for Faith & Spirituality Chapel on Sunday, December 16th.
