The Parking & Traffic Services office is located adjacent to the main entrance of the Student Center and serves as the central point of contact for all campus parking services. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Vehicle Registration

The University requires all vehicles (cars, motorcycles and mopeds) to be registered with the Parking & Traffic Services Office. Bicycles must also be registered. At the time of registration, you will be able to purchase a registration decal and will receive a copy of the Parking & Traffic Rules & Regulations manual. There is no charge for bicycle registration. Temporary and visitor permits are also available. Parking citation appeal forms are obtained through this office, as well. 

Traffic Rules

Motor vehicles must yield to pedestrians and observe all applicable regulations. Please obey all traffic regulations and use all safety equipment when operating any motor vehicle on campus.

Parking Rules

Vehicles observed committing a parking or moving violation are subject to ticketing, with the registered owner being responsible for the designated fine. If you let someone use your car, be sure that they are aware of the campus rules.

Visitor Parking

Visitor parking is available in the Brown Lot (Welcome Center). Visitors, not previously scheduled for an event, can obtain a parking hang-tag at the Parking and Traffic Office before 5:00pm.  After 5:00pm they can obtain a visitor pass from the Communication Center located in front of the Student Center (Bldg #12 on Map).  Students are never authorized to park in the visitor parking areas.

Parking Services

Campus Safety & Security operates a Motorist Assistance Program. Safety officers will assist with jump starts and flat tire inflation. To place a request after hours, call 386-226-6480 to speak with a Campus Safety Dispatcher.
