Hands-on experience working with popular engineering materials and building prototypes, components, and systems for projects, is provided to students in all Engineering degree programs in the Manufacturing Laboratory.

Advanced manufacturing equipment, such as Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and 3-D printing machines, are housed in this lab alongside very basic machining tools, including lathes, mills, and routers.

In addition to supporting the College of Engineering’s courses in manufacturing, the laboratory provides resources for various student organization activities, senior design projects, student competition projects, and faculty experimental research.

The lab is staffed by an experienced technician, who is in charge of supervising students, safety, and the management of this lab.
