The Biology and Chemistry labs provide a hands-on learning space for students taking Physical Sciences courses.
The Biology and Organic Chemistry lab is the primary space for students taking the introductory laboratory course in Biology. The lab features two different kinds of microscopes, a number of preserved zoological and botanical specimens, and human anatomical models.
Chemistry is an important foundation course to understand atomic theory, elements, compounds, mixtures, solutions, states of matter, and more. With UV/Vis spectrophotometers, FTIR spectrometer, and gas chromatography, the Chemistry lab is a teaching lab and prep space for student and faculty research.
